Registration terms.

This service is operated by TwelveBirds Technologies Inc, a California (USA) corporation (“TwelveBirds”, “we”). We sell and manage domain registrations as a reseller of Hosting Concepts B.V., trading as Openprovider, an ICANN-accredited registrar in Rotterdam, the Netherlands (IANA ID 1647). Every registration is also subject to Openprovider’s Registration Agreement (doc.openprovider.eu/Registration_Agreement — for .hk domains also doc.openprovider.eu/Registration_Agreement_.hk), the policies of the registry that runs the ending, and ICANN policies, including the Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP). ICANN describes registrants’ rights and responsibilities at www.icann.org/resources/pages/benefits-2013-09-16-en and www.icann.org/registrants.

Domains are registered in your name: you are the registrant and the owner. We manage them for you through our reseller account. You can transfer a domain to another provider at any time, subject to the 60-day locks that registration rules apply after a new registration or a transfer; we send the transfer authorisation code within 5 days of your request and help you move if you end the service.

Registration rules require accurate registrant details. Tell us about changes within 7 days, and complete the registrant email verification within 15 days when you receive it, or the domain can be suspended. Knowingly false details can lead to cancellation of a domain.

Domains are registered first come, first served. Search results and the checks we run before payment do not reserve a name; until a registration completes, someone else may register it. If a registration fails, our responsibility is to refund what you paid for that domain. If a displayed price is clearly wrong, or a premium name was shown at a standard price, we may cancel that item before registration and refund it. Current prices are shown on this site; taxes, where they apply, are shown before you pay.

Your first payment is taken after you add your card and before we register, and covers each domain’s yearly fee for its minimum term. Domains then renew automatically: we email a reminder about 45 days before a domain expires and charge your saved card about 30 days before expiry, at the renewal price then shown in our pricing; if a charge fails we retry and email you a link to update your card. A domain is renewed only after a successful payment, and automatic renewal continues until you cancel it. We announce price changes at least 45 days before they apply to you. You can cancel automatic renewal for any domain at any time by emailing hello@twelvebirds.com; we confirm the cancellation, no further renewal is charged, and the domain expires at the end of its paid period.

If a domain cannot be registered, we refund everything you paid for it, including its email setup fee. Once a domain is registered, its fees are not refundable, except where the law that protects you says otherwise. For consumers in the European Union and the United Kingdom: registration begins immediately at your request, which you confirm before paying, so once a domain is registered the 14-day right of withdrawal no longer applies to it.

If you cancel renewal, or payment cannot be collected after our reminders and retries, the domain expires under the registry’s rules: it stops working and, for many endings, can be recovered during a redemption period only at an extra fee that can be far higher than a renewal. Redemption fees depend on the ending; contact us as early as possible if a domain you want to keep has expired.

Our email setup fee is a one-time service fee and is not refundable once the setup is complete. The email service itself is a contract between you and its provider, such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 or Zoho Mail; you pay the provider directly, and we are not responsible for the provider’s service, prices or availability.

Registrations under .com.hk, .sg and .com.sg are completed by our staff and are not instant; they take effect when the registry accepts them, and we refund any registration a registry rejects. Some endings have eligibility rules — for example, a Taiwan company registering .tw needs its unified business number — and we tell you during the order what is required.

We serve customers internationally, including Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore. We do not offer this service in mainland China. We may decline or cancel an order, refunding whatever has not been performed, where United States law, sanctions rules or a registry’s policies do not allow us to proceed.

Domains and DNS managed through us must not be used for unlawful purposes, phishing, spam or distributing malware. Registries, the registrar and we may suspend or act on a domain under their abuse and dispute policies, and a domain involved in a UDRP dispute is locked while the case runs. We run this service with care, but we do not control registries, the registrar or the wider DNS. To the extent the law allows, our total liability in connection with a domain is limited to the fees you paid us for that domain in the 12 months before the event, and we are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits or losses caused by a domain expiring or not resolving. Nothing in these terms limits rights that the law does not allow to be limited.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes about this service are handled by the state or federal courts located in Alameda County, California, and both sides accept the jurisdiction of those courts. If the law where you live gives you mandatory rights, including a right to bring a claim in your local courts, those rights are not affected. Disputes with third parties about a domain name itself follow the UDRP and the registry’s dispute policies.

We may update these terms. The version number above changes when we do, and a renewal after a change follows the terms in force at the time of that renewal. This version applies from 30 September 2026.
